Scarring is a Deformity
Scarring is the process of wounds being repaired. Fibrous tissue replacing normal tissues that are damaged or destroyed resulting in leaving a mark on the skin after the healing of a wound often caused by injuries in the form of burns, lacerations and even loss of limbs and surgery.
In many cases, medical treatment from serious accidents may lead to permanent scarring and/or disfigurement. The healing process and physical appearance of scarring is undetermined due to the severity and location of the injury.
